SF-Caravan Club Sites
Originally, SF-Caravan Club Sites were opened for SF-Caravan members or members of its foreign sister organisations. Now however, the more modern sites are open to all campers. Some of these sites operate as SF-Caravan club sites during the winter season and as public camping sites during high season in the summer.
Most of the practical work and tasks of the SF-Caravan Club Sites rely on the voluntary work of the campers. Not all of the sites have appointed supervisors present at all times either. Some of the SF-Caravan Club Sites are so-called self-contained sites: each camper is expected to keep the area clean, tidy and pleasant.

SF-Caravan awarded campsites
SF-Caravan awards annually the Campsites of the Year. Karavaanarialue Onnela was the winner of the public camping sites. SF-Caravan Alatalo in Kuopio won the club sites prize. “The Campsite of the Year” is a highly appreciated recognition for the campsites because of the long and progressive work for all campers.
